I'm so disappointed because I bought the kishi for-star rail. You would just have to go to settings and select Controller Mode, the game will restart and the backbone will have full controller support just like a playstation controller. I removed it from the previous post as I just now found that Backbone works seemlessly with Honkai Star Rail, so if you have an iPhone sitting around that plays it, that will work perfectly. I included the Backbone with my experience and opinion on the backbone. But I will put up with it because it means less problems for my arthritis trying to claw the phone itself. I personally don't find it worth $100 if they dont offer true controller support for the game and only a virtual-based controller. If possible, I would try to buy the Kishi v2 on sale or if they have an open-box for reduced price. And, if you need a controller to grip on the sides to make it easier to put with. My opinion on the Razer Kishi v2 inregards to using it for Honkai Star Rail or Impact:Use it only to deal with the fact that its annoying to play with your phone in landscape mode for long periods of time. Does it work seemlessly? No.ĭepends, if you dont mind using the touchscreen keymapping feature of the Kishi v2 and dont mind having to touch the screen once in awhile then you will be fine.Īt the moment the functions I have had to setup are the Left Joystick for movement (make sure to overlay it as close to center as you can on the joystick on the in-game screen), the right joystick (make sure to configure it to function for camera), the X button for attack, Y button for Skil and R1 for sprinting. So to answer your question: Does it work? Yes. HOWEVER, you will have to use the touchscreen keymapping funcions where you have to put keymap overlays and assign a button to it. You can play Honkai Star Rail with the Kishi v2.
